Welcome to OPAR Sandbox

OPAR Sandbox is a training environment operated by UbuntuNet Alliance to support practical learning, collaboration, and capacity building around repository management and open science workflows in Africa.

This sandbox is intended for guided exercises on DSpace, including community and collection management, metadata quality, submission workflows, discovery, and persistent identifier practice.

Participants are expected to use the environment fairly and professionally so that the platform remains reliable and useful for shared training sessions across institutions in the UbuntuNet Alliance community.

UbuntuNet Alliance advances research and education networking and promotes open science through regional collaboration, shared infrastructure, skills development, and access to trusted scholarly systems.
